Picture a shirt in your closet. Imagine wearing that shirt. Walking down the street, the wind is warm and the shirt flaps in delight. You feel its arms around yours and you thank its softness. Floating down from the trees above, cherry blossom petals caress your cheeks and eyelids and nestle in your chest. The sun is sinking too.
Ezra Gray (b. 1986) lives and works in Vancouver. He completed his MA in painting from the Royal College of Art (London) and BFA from Concordia University (Montreal). Select solo exhibitions include Joech God, Emalin, London (2018); Brown Space, Almanac Inn, Turin and Infinitive, Jeffrey Stark, New York City (both 2017).
